Beautifully hand painted with fine attention to detail, the 36 inch long sword features a 27.5 inch blade constructed from carbon steel- the blade comes unsharpened so it is perfectly suitable for costume use. The handbrake style handle is black with silver accents and features an actual trigger that can be squeezed- in the anime this is used to control the soldier?s Vertical Maneuvering Equipment but here just makes for a nice touch of realism along with the long leather braided tassel at the pommel that is used to connect the user?s equipment.
